PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES

Building Africa’s Creative Future — From Art to AI & Robotics, From Gaming to Blockchain apps.

Building decentralized cooperative finance

READ WHITEPAPER →

Akpa Oroma is a decentralized savings and credit protocol built on Citrea’s Bitcoin Layer 2 (zk-EVM). It digitizes the traditional ajo or esusu model — the community savings circles common across Igbo and African societies — using zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to ensure fairness, privacy, and transparency.

Through Akpa Oroma, contributors can:

  • Create or join verified savings pools with on-chain accountability.

  • Earn trust-based reputation scores through a ZK-credit badge system.

  • Access automated draw rotations secured by verifiable randomness (VRF).

  • Operate across low-bandwidth environments via mobile-first interfaces.

The project is a live ₿app under the Beaconsmith Collective’s innovation track — merging fintech, culture, and sovereignty into a Bitcoin-native community banking system.

AI Meets Art & Robotics

BOOK THIS OFFER →

The Creative Technologies program unites artists, developers, and innovators exploring how AI, robotics, and blockchain shape new forms of creativity and collaboration.

AI Meets Art & Robotics
Participants learn generative design, automation, and prompt engineering using tools like Stable Diffusion, Runway, Arduino, and AI vision systems. They build prototypes that merge art and engineering — from intelligent installations to responsive robots. Each cycle ends with a live showcase at The Beaconsmith House, where creativity and computation meet.

Blockchain & Builder Communities
Beaconsmith also hosts developer and creator events across ecosystems such as Citrea, Polkadot, Sui, Kratus L2, and web3 Enugu Conference Buildup. These gatherings teach practical ₿app building, smart contracts, and community funding tools. Together, they form a network where innovation is local, cultural, and open to all.

The Beaconsmith Gallery functions as both a physical exhibition space and a digital curation hub for AI-generated, mixed-media, and traditional artworks.

  • Built on a modular display system, it supports HDF/MDF board artworks (2×2ft to 8×8ft), projection installations, and AR-enhanced exhibits.

  • The digital gallery layer runs on IPFS-based archival storage, ensuring artworks are permanently preserved and verifiable on-chain if tokenized.

  • Artists can submit, mint, or display works through curated showcases such as “AI Meets Art”, “Creators Fest”, and community exhibitions.

  • A local sales mechanism connects online interest to offline purchasing or in-person studio visits, reflecting Nigeria’s payment realities.

The Gallery’s purpose: to blend culture and computation, preserving the soul of art in the age of machines.
