Enugu is at a turning point. The energy is shifting, the builders are stepping up, and Nigeria is starting to pay attention.
Since stepping into my role as Citrea’s lead in Nigeria, I have made it my mission to ensure that Web3 is not just a side conversation but a pillar of Enugu’s digital transformation. This is not about trends. It is about sovereignty, innovation, and positioning Enugu as a force in the global tech landscape.
From the first meeting with the Honorable Commissioner on March 17, the vision was clear. Web3 is not an abstract idea. It is a real opportunity for developers, entrepreneurs, and the next generation of innovators. In that meeting, we laid the groundwork for something bigger—a collaboration that could set the precedent for how blockchain and governance intersect in Africa.
Days later, we pushed forward, engaging with the state to ensure that Citrea Nigeria would have a strong presence at the Enugu Tech Festival. This was not just about participation. It was about establishing an ecosystem with the right leaders, the right vision, and the right execution
Then came ₿apps Szn, a defining moment. A gathering of minds, builders, and those who see beyond the noise. A Commissioner who didn’t just observe but engaged. That was a signal. A shift.
